Some clauses only apply once the signer has done something else — "if paragraph B.2. is initialed by Seller, then..." followed by a list that's irrelevant otherwise.
To set it up: select the dependent fields, choose …completed or …left blank, then click the driving field on the page. It's a picking mode rather than a dropdown because on a form with two hundred fields the answer is spatial — that box, there.
What the signer gets: until the condition is met, the block sits greyed and dashed. Tapping it says which field it's waiting on and in what state.
It stays visible on purpose. Hiding a clause that doesn't yet apply makes it impossible to reason about, and the signer may be one tick away from making it apply. "Greyed" says not yours yet. "Gone" says this document never mentioned it. On a contract those are very different claims.
A required field that doesn't apply can never block submission — otherwise a signer would be stuck with nothing on screen to fix.
This is different from a lens condition. A lens rule ("Driven by a lens answer") resolves once, when the packet is built, from the room's answers. A field rule is checked live while signing, because the answer doesn't exist yet when the packet is made. You can stack both.
