Why some fields don’t merge into a form

How CaprikaOS decides which contact fields auto-fill into which paperwork.

CaprikaOS auto-fills as much of your paperwork as it can — buyer/seller names, property address, price, and dates — using a per-form field mapping.

If a field comes in blank or wrong

Most forms are pre-mapped and just work. Occasionally a specific form template has a field CaprikaOS hasn't mapped yet, or a mapping that doesn't match how your brokerage's form is laid out. When that happens:

  1. Finish sending the packet manually for now — the signer can still fill the field in by hand.
  2. Flag it: from the document, use Report a mapping issue (or contact support and mention "form mapping"). This routes straight to the CaprikaOS team's form-mapping queue.
  3. Our team reviews the flag, fixes the mapping, and future sends of that form auto-fill correctly.

This feedback loop is how the form library gets more accurate over time — flagging a bad mapping helps every agent using that form, not just you.
